Scheherazade entices the King by telling him a story on their first night together, pausing halfway through as the sun came up. The King, being absorbed by the story, keeps Scheherazade alive, eager to hear more from her.Illustrated by H. J. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in a small crack to the head of the front joint. A few light marks to the boards. Spine is a little discoloured. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. The occasional pencil doodle to the text. Very Good.
