copyright date 1944. , not other date. Decorated boards (prince throwing flower petals- replicates the jacket), black backstrip. Boards bright, only slight wear to extremities.Text and illustrations very clean, not inscribed or otherwise marked. jacket has a few blotchy areas , some edges wear/chips, no noticeable loss.
