Philadelphia, APS 1967. 4°. 55 p. Pbck. (corners slightly bumped slightly browned).- Transactions of the American Philosophical Society, New Series, Vol.57, Part 4.- "The Greek text was published by Heiberg. with a German translation by Nix. By a strange oversight this omits the end of book I (missing from the Greek), which contains Ptolemy's theory of the absolute distances of the heavenly bodies; and thus Ptolemy's authorship of the latter theory remained unknown in modern times until the complete Arabic text (with English translation. of the part omitted by Nix) was published by B. Goldsein." (DSB XI, 205).
