Ink presentation inscription by the author to the front free end paper - "Ellen Cook in loving memory of her dearest sister, Mary Warren, who had read and approved these papers RHW". Contents list includes 22 articles but the last of these is crossed through and marked "deficient". They are all offprints or reprints from periodicals. Titles include The misereres in Bristol Cathedral - Braun's map of Bristol, commonly called Hoefnagle's - Sculptures from Newgate and Lawford's Gate, Bristol - The Mediaeval chapels of Bristol - Wells Cathedral - Clevedon Church - The seals of Tewkesbury Abbey. Bound in the original paper covered boards and cloth spine - spine soiled and browned, a few marks to the boards. The contents seem to date from the 1890s to the early 1900s.Insect damage to the inner rear hinge.
