Handsome compendium of architects, building contractors and related businesses, illustrated throughout in black and white and colour. The fifty-seventh year of issue.In publisher's original green cloth binding.Profusely illustrated throughout, some of which are in colour.The 1943 compendium of firms and businesses for use by architects. Usefully segmented into themes like "Roofing Tiles. Wall & Floor Tiles. Bricks" and "Structural Steel & Iron Work. Tubular Scaffolding", with full registers of architects and building contractors, split by county, to the rear of the work. Founded in 1886 by John Ed. Sears, this was the fourth compendium to be published during the Second World War. In publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with slight bumping and rubbing and the odd mark. Internally, front hinge reasonably weak, meaning first few pages slightly delicate, otherwise firmly bound. Bright and clean with the odd spot throughout, heavier to the first and last few pages. Very Good.…
