Two scarce volumes from the well-known American periodical 'The Architectural Forum', which focused on homebuilding and architecture and ran from 1892 until 1974.This set contains Volume XLIII, No. 6, 'University Buildings Part I', published in 1925, and Volume XLIV, No. 6, 'University Buildings Part II', published in 1926.Containing numerous articles focused on university buildings, including the inspirational value of collegiate architecture, the plans of university libraries, common rooms and dining halls, dormitories, and more.Volume XLIII, No. 6 contains sixteen illustrated plates, along with numerous in-text illustrations, maps, and plans. Also containing fifty-five pages of adverts to the front and one hundred and forty-three pages of adverts to the rear.Volume XLIV, No. 6 contains sixteen plates, along with numerous in-text illustrations, maps, and plans. Also containing seventy pages of adverts to the front and one hundred and seventy-five pages of adverts to the rear.Collated and complete. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, sound, with some light edgewear and shelf wear, with some light marks to the boards. Spines are darkened slightly. Internally, the tails of the hinges in both volumes are starting.
