Hardcover. Six issues of The Architectural Record bound as one; in half-leather over pebbled cloth. Volume XXXIX, which includes Issues for January-June, 1916. The original issue covers are NOT bound-in, nor are any ads; else appears complete. Also a Volume XXXIX index bound in at the front. Light rubbing at the corners. Some light rubbed soil to the boards, and an `1" worn spot on the rear board. Sun-lightening to the spine leather, but the spine gilt is bright (with just a bit of rubbing). Some sun-darkening around the perimeter of the endpapers, and some age-darkening to the page edges. One signature starting to pull loose (this includes the section that is a tribute to F. W. Dodge). Else pages are just a bit age-toned, but clean. Many B&W architectural photos & floor plans. Articles and photos of work done by many architects of the day, including Louis Sullivan; McKim, Mead & white; etc. This is a fairly heavy book; Priority and/or International may require shipping over and above standard costs. ; 28C; 10 X 7"; 578 pages.
