Two volume set. Two bound volumes of The Architectural Record, containing all twelve issues for 1918 (January through June, and July through December). Each bound in half-leather over pebbled cloth. The original issue covers are NOT bound-in, nor are any ads; else appear complete. Also a volume index is bound in at the front of each. Wear at the corners and spine extremities. Some chipped loss at the spine heads, and the bottom front corner of V43 is bumped and with a 3/4" tear in the leather. Some rubbing along the spine edges. Some surface rubbing to the boards. The spines are somewhat sunned, but the spine gilt is bright. The page edges are freckled, and somewhat age-darkened. Label scar on the bottom corner of the rear pastedown of each. A previous owners name and 1919 date is pencilled on the front pastedown of each, and there is a light erasure on the top corner of the front flyleaf of each. Else pages are a bit age-toned, but clean. Many B&W architectural photos and floor-plans; some fold-outs.
