Includes (not exhaustive): Sur?s Selected Poems (from an edition of 1000); an exhibition catalog for the Sur-curated Group UFO photography show; a collection of faxes and letters to and from music and art photographer Gervaise Soeurouge, with an ad card for a show of her work; several flyers for others of Sur?s curated shows; several handwritten notes; an example of his ?Sur Real Adverts?; his Grace Mansion Gallery business card; printout of ?A Sky Poem for My Husband Geoff? [Hendricks]; a collection of materials related to Sur?s ?Cavellini 1914-2014? project; other miscellaneous materials. Sur Rodney (Sur) was (and remains, as of this writing!) one of the key figures in late 20th century art in New York City (and elsewhere), and this collection, the bulk of which is quite scarce on the market, gives an overview of his many contributions.
