The Archivist's Loop (Paperback)

Paperback. In a world governed by archives rather than memory, an unnamed Archivist is tasked with maintaining records that should not exist-and stabilising loops that refuse to close. Each fragment is logged. Each recursion is classified. Each ending is marked complete. But the system is lying. As records repeat, overwrite themselves, and resurface without authorisation, the Archivist begins to suspect that memory is not being preserved-but controlled. What starts as a procedural anomaly deepens into a recursive paradox, where identities fracture, restorations multiply, and conclusions arrive without resolution. Told through fragmented logs, system notices, and collapsing narrative layers, The Archivist's Loop is a psychological speculative novella about institutional memory, bureaucratic truth, and the quiet horror of systems that never admit failure. There is no escape. Only stabilisation. Only continuation. And one final question the archive was never designed to answer: Who remembers first-and who decides what is forgotten?
