Ariane Mnouchkine, née le 3 mars 1939 à Boulogne-Billancourt, est metteur en scène de théâtre et animatrice de la troupe qu'elle a fondée en 1964, le Théâtre du Soleil. Elle est également scénariste et réalisatrice de films. Elle réside à Montrouge (Hauts-de-Seine). Ariane Mnouchkine est la fille du producteur Alexandre Mnouchkine qui nomma sa société de production cinématographique Les Films Ariane. Elle débute au théâtre en 1959 en montant une troupe universitaire à la Sorbonne avec Philippe Léotard. Elle fonde avec lui le Théâtre du Soleil, troupe qui s'installe à La Cartoucherie de Vincennes en 1970. 68 pp. Französisch.
