About the Author

Kimberly A. Rinker is both an award-winning writer and horse racing participant. An Ohio State University graduate and licensed trainer-driver of Standardbreds, Rinker represented the United States in the 1995 International Drivers Championship in Moscow, Russia. Her features have appeared in The Horseman & Fair World, Hoof Beats, Illinois Racing News, Sports Eye, Midwest Thoroughbred, and Illinois Standardbred.
