Arms Of Destruction: Ranking The World's Best Land Weapons Of WW II: The World's Best Land Weapons Of World War Ii

Book by Slayton, Robert

"Arms of Destruction is an excellent analysis of the weapons of World War II, which also enlightens the reader as to which were the best and most significant. Mr. Slayton has done a superb job of cutting through the emotion attached to all major weapons systems of the war and has analyzed each not only from a technical, but from an operational standpoint, which must be considered in any analysis of military weapons. His views are in each instance critical, logical and reasoned, while at the same time written in an entertaining and highly readable style that is normally not found in a book of this type. Whether one dips into the book to study a specific weapon type or reads the book from cover to cover, Arms of Destruction is a ‘must’ for any student of military history, technology, or of World War II."
