Fine Asprey full leather binding (most likely executed by Sangorski and Sutcliffe or Zaehnsdorf), with gilt titles to the spine, a replica of the internal illustration of the Field Marshal in inlayed coloured leather, marbled end papers, all page edges gilt, gently tanned throughout, text block tight.

Pagination: unpaginated with 24 colour illustrations as called for with 24 pages of text to accompany and paper guards.

Provenance: no signatures or bookplates.
