Most of our books are "very good" or "fine", some small number are "good" or "fair". Definitions of
these terms are easily available on-line, or we can provide that information. We provide further information about each book in the description/comments field. Customers should read fully the
description and note any described faults.

We also attempt to provide images of each book, though some images may be missing. Images can be supplied upon request.An image may be provided.

Any book purchased and received not as described may be returned for a full
refund. Notify us via email within 7 days of receipt or delivery confirmation and post
the book within the 7 days.
Any book may be returned for any reason within 7 days of receipt or delivery
confirmation. Refund will be for the sale price of the book only.
We have no facility to deal with a foreign nation's postal delivery service. Our books
are shipped in good faith of delivery and with postal delivery receipt.International
customers - buyers outside the USA - must agree to press no claim for "non receipt" of a shipped book.

We accept payment via MasterCard, Visa, Paypal, check, money order, cash,
$US US bank draft. Books are always shipped in a timely manner, often next day. We package carefully with the idea of protecting the book from moisture and abusive handling.

We operate under the name Ultramarine Books, a registered vendor in the State of
New York.. Ultramarine Books is a sole proprietorship owned by Thomas

Because we are a licensed New York State vendor we will request sales tax for deliveries made within New York State.

Our books are usually shipped via USPS Media Mail, the least expensive domestic choice. Shipments of more than 4 pounds must ship via Priority Mail, a USPS regulation. We will ship via private carriers, such as UPS or FedEx, on request. We may also choose a private carrier for very expensive shipments. Currently USPS provides us with tracking numbers for domestic shipments.

International:
Our cost is based on postage cost of the package's weight and the destination. First Class Air, Priority Mail, or Priority Express Mail may be employed based on customer's request and the book's value. All packages over 4 pounds must ship Priority or Priority Express by rule of USPS. We will employ "Flat Rate" packaging to lower cost if possible.

All our books are well packaged against damage in shipment.
