About the Author

Richard Forno is currently the Director of Security for a major internet services firm in Herndon, VA. His recent activities include helping establish the very active Information Resources Security Office at the US House of Representatives and serving as a special consultant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. His major areas of interest include national information warfare issues, computer crime investigations, and security education.

Richard is a graduate of Valley Forge Military College, The American University School of International Service, and is the youngest graduate on record from the United States Naval War College. He is a frequent speaker and author on the subjects of information warfare and security management, with articles and commentary featured in several publications including Federal Computer Week, Technology Week, Forbes, and the Journal of Operations Security. * * *
