About the Author
Starting his art career in his native Philippines, Nebres enjoyed the classic "lucky break" of having his work for local comic company seen by the some American publishers. By 1972 he was in the big leagues illustrating for DC Comics, home of Superman and Batman, then in quick succession Marvel Comics and Warren Magazines. By 1985, he'd "gone Hollywood", working for Marvel Entertainment Studios as a presentation artist for several projects, including the animated series "Defenders of the Earth". A multi-talented illustrator who can work at blinding speed is always in demand, which is how Rudy found himself back on the East Coast, this time working for Continuity Studios, run by comic art mega-legend Neal Adams! Now Nebres enjoys a more relaxed schedule of freelance work and special commissions from his legion of fans.
