Loyd V. Allen, Jr. PhD, is Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding and Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy, and Professor Emeritus, College of Pharmacy, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City. Dr. Allen has been awarded 13 patents in the field of drug formulations, and his research interests are in the areas of drug dosage form design and development as well as drug stability and compatibility.
