Second edition, greatly expanded from the 1791 original edition (a 32-page pamphlet, Evans 23469). 8vo. xlviii [another, earlier, issue has 20 pages of preliminaries], 68, (4) pp. Engraved title page and frontispiece, illustrated with 10 engraved plates, in-text illustrations. American Imprints 28833. Boards a little foxed, endpapers browned, plates age-toned, but an attractive, untrimmed, and mostly unopened copy. Original paper-backed drab boards (with "Art of Writing" added in manuscript upon the upper board). (#8381).
