About the Author

Ronald J. Allen is the John Henry Wigmore Professor of Law at Northwestern University. S. David Stulberg is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine, and the founder and director of the joint reconstruction and implant service at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He serves on the staff of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Victoria A. Brander is the medical director of ContinuCare and codirector of the Arthritis Center, as well as a member of the Institute's Board of Directors.
