The Arthritis Solution

Millions of Americans would appreciate a quick fix or an instant cure for arthritis. Thanks to some recently released books that claim arthritis sufferers can pop a few pills and watch their arthritis and pain disappear, people think they?ve got the cure. They may soon be disappointed.
According to the co-authors of a brand new book, The Arthritis Solution, there?s more involved than just popping a few pills. ?The claim is that when combined, the over-the-counter products glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate can halt, reverse, and may even cure osteoarthritis,? says Dr. Joseph Kandel. ?The real question is, are these really of any value at all??The Arthritis Solution looks at the pros and cons of this much-discussed combination treatment for treating arthritis and other joint pain syndromes. It also considers a broad array of other treatments that can ease, and in some cases radically reduce the pain and problems associated with arthritis.
?The goal of our book is to present arthritis sufferers with various pieces of the puzzle, so together with their doctor, they can put together their own combination of pain relief,? says Dr. David Sudderth. ?The pieces may comprise traditional medication, dietary changes, weight loss, exercise, massage, magnets, or any of more than two dozen other treatments. We encourage people to design the right solution for them.?Written as a news bulletin on the latest medicines, procedures, and options, The Arthritis Solution explains what arthritis is and what illnesses many people and sometimes even doctors confuse with it. It also informs readers of the most effective medicines on the market today and discusses a variety of natural medicines and alternatives ranging from massage to heat packs to mud baths and even the latest weight loss medication, Redux.
