Artificial Intelligence: Hello New Age Dentistry

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence by machines, especially computer systems, to perform tasks typically requiring human intellect. These tasks include decision-making, problem-solving, learning, and natural language understanding. AI systems use algorithms, big data, and computational power to mimic cognitive functions and provide precise outcomes.

In dentistry, AI encompasses tools and technologies that assist dental professionals in diagnosis, treatment planning, patient management, and procedural efficiency. Evolution of AI in Healthcare and Dentistry AI's integration into healthcare began with its ability to analyze large datasets and extract patterns for better decision-making. From early expert systems in the 1970s to modern-day deep learning models, AI has grown exponentially, transforming diagnostics, therapeutics, and patient care.
