Leather Hard Bound. Very Good/No Jacket. 1852 Printing. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Black leather, four rib spine, gold edging on both boards and around the spine ribs, gold title on spine. Really nice condition shiny black leather binding, marbled end papers, good hinges. Some foxing of text. Looks like the vade mecum of the pre civil war mechanic and artist. Contains everything there is to know about electricity in 3 pages. Same for magnetism. Some nice steam power stuff, very primitive steam locomotive engraving. Lots of chemistry and formulas.
