About the Author

MERRITT J. NIELSON is currently Curriculum Director at Nazarene Publishing House. His professional responsibilities have included college teaching and administration, missionary church planting, non-profit social service leadership, public relations and broadcast media production. He has also served in five pastoral ministry assignments with the Church of the Nazarene in the United States and Europe, as well as additional pastoral service with the American Baptists, United Church of Christ, and the United Methodists. He is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
