Tight binding, even with barest start of hinge crack between frontis and title page. Minor wear to red board edges and corners with some tiny marks on both boards. Interior is clean with 70 woodcuts and 13 color illustrations by John Leech throughout. DJ is preserved in Mylar has been price clipped. Has 3/4" piece missing from top of spine, 1/2" triangular piece missing from front corner flap and a 1/8" strip missing from bottom of spine. Has wear on edges and corners of DJ and some shelf scuffing on back. Follows the romantic exploits of two generations of the Pringle family. 541 pages.
