Book. Edited by Colin Painter and Anne Painter, Aspects: a Journal of Contemporary Art, Newcastle-upon-Tyne,Winter 1982/83. 300 x 210 mm. Designed as a folding newspaper broadsheet, this contemporary art journal particularly focused on art that was being produced and exhibited in the North of England. Extensively illustrated in black and white. This issue features an essay on the work of Kinetic artist George Rickey; an art-philosophical text by Janet Wolff entitled "Aesthetic Judgement and Sociological Analysis, as well as a visual text on Steve Willats' "Inside the Night" exhibition at the Lisson Gallery, 4 - 30 January 1983. Condition: near fine.
