Book. Edited by Colin Painter and Anne Painter, Aspects: a Journal of Contemporary Art, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Summer 1983. 300 x 210 mm. Designed as a folding newspaper broadsheet, this contemporary art journal particularly focused on art that was being produced and exhibited in the North of England. Extensively illustrated in black and white, with a front cover image of Ian Breakwell at the Galeria Vijande, Madrid. This issue also comes with a diary which documents his preparation for this exhibition, as well as an interview with the artist Nigel Rolfe, and Susan Hiller's "Elan" text works from 1982. Condition: near fine.
