Aspects of Reproduction and Development in the Prairie Vole (Microtus ochrogaster)

Fitch concludes the study by summarizing the significant findings regarding the reproductive biology and development of the prairie vole. He emphasizes the importance of understanding these aspects in the context of prairie vole ecology and social behavior, as well as their adaptations to environmental changes. Overall, Aspects of Reproduction and Development in the Prairie Vole provides valuable insights into the life history strategies of the prairie vole, underscoring the intricate relationships between their reproductive behaviors, parental care, and environmental influences. This study serves as a foundational resource for future research on voles and rodent reproductive ecology.
