Staple-bound in textured card covers. Light wear to covers. Interior is clean and unmarked. Illustration showing the author's personal bookplate. [8] pages. 8.5 x 5.75 inches. One copy noted on OCLC (Univ. of Wisconsin). Georgetta's six-page essay, explaining the symbolism incorporated into his bookplate. Clel Evan Georgetta (1901-1979) was a Nevada rancher, a highly successful attorney in Reno, judge, and author. Born in Salt Lake City, he attended the University of Nevada, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Washington, where he received his law degree. He sold his Triune Ranch in 1940, which then became part of the Goshute Indian Reservation. During World War II, he served in the Army as a judge and retired with the rank Lieutenant Colonel. Following his 34-year law practice, he was elected as a District Court judge and served one term, 1959-1963. He was the author of a few books, including ''Golden Fleece in Nevada'' and ''Wool, Beef and Gold: Sheep, Cattle and Mining Stories of the West. Seller Inventory # 013733
