Using Code Weavers' CrossOver software, SALT 2012 for Windows is installed inside a virtual Windows environment. This version looks and runs a lot like any other Mac program alothough you may notice a slight delay when it starts up and you will notice a difference in the file system. But the best news is, there's no Windows license required; everything you need is included with the software. All versions of SALT now inlcude installations for both Windows and Mac.
