The scope of the present study limits to the infrastructure of Gulbarga city. The study attempts to analyze the distribution of hard and soft infrastructure within the city of Gulbarga there by analyzing the intra-city disparity of infrastructure.

The study limits to infrastructure of road, hospitals, energy-electricity infrastructure, Underground Liquid Drainage (ULD) infrastructure, potable water supply infrastructure, communication infrastructure using the location of cellular towers, solid waste collection infrastructure though location of dustbins, emergency infrastructure though location of hospitals, economic infrastructure though location of industries, education infrastructure through location of schools and colleges, and green infrastructure through location of dedicated parks.

Upon the spatial analysis of all the above mentioned infrastructure, their spatial disparity in their distribution was brought out. The reallocation of the infrastructure is also addressed in order to bring balance in their distribution.
