An Assessment of Indexing and Abstracting Services

The book came at the right time because of dearth of scholarly literature on abstracting and indexing services that highlights the experiences of developing countries such as Nigeria. The value of the book resides in demystifying the concepts of indexing and abstracting. The book is concise and clearly written, reflecting a compendium of knowledge, skills, experiences, and expertise on indexing and abstracting. I am pleased to introduce this book –it will be of immense benefit to students, scholars and practitioners of information science, information management, library science, and in related fields.
