Hardback, 8vo. approx 8.75 x 5.5 inches. In full tree-calf leather binding with decorative gilt paneled boards, raised banding and full gilt decoration to spine with gilt lettered leather spine label. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to spine and ends, some minor rubbing to corners. Neat inscription to front endpaper/prelim ?Percy Prower, from his affectionate friend on his leaving Eton, Election 1862, W.H. Dunscombe.? (Late Capt. 1st Life Guards, Nephew of Earl of Farnshaw.) Inside pages all very clean, bright and tight throughout. Else a very good clean and tight copy. xv + 381pp. With decorated chapter initials and chapter headings. Mixture of science and theology in regard to religion.

Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We

library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
