Among the other contents in this brochure: "altitudes of principal stations," "Chicago Passenger Stations," Chillicothe-Peoria bus schedules," fares and rates, maps (including map of Chicago Business District; profile map of Santa Fe, Chicago to California; and maps of Santa Fe Lines in Illinois and Missouri; Kansas and Oklahoma; Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana; Colorado, New Mexico & Texas Panhandle; Arizona; and California), meal service, miles of lines operated, rules for trains, schedules, and station index. The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, also known simply as the Santa Fe or AT&SF, was a railroad that was chartered in 1859 to serve the cities of Atchison and Topeka, Kansas and Santa Fe, New Mexico. It eventually came to include branch lines in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and others parts of Kansas and New Mexico. AT&SF ceased operations in 1996 when it merged with Burlington Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway (BNSF).
