Being that work, with a very greatly enlarged and carefully corrected appendix, containing every list of importance connected with the city of Glasgow, and the counties of Lanark, Ayr, Renfrew, Stirling, Dumbarton, and Argyle. Glasgow: Published exclusively by Atkinson & Co. 84, Trongate. But sold by all booksellers in Scotland. Mottled calf with gilt bands. Duodecimo/12mo gatherings, though measuring around 3 1/2" x 5 5/8" x 1 1/2", so more like a trigesimo-secundo/32mo in size. Pagination: xii, 552 and 88-page supplement to rear. Gilt numbering and bands to spine.Scuffing and marking to binding, some tearing and loss to leather, mainly to edges of boards, to hinges and spine edges. Hinges partially cracked on outside but holding, and cracking to inner rear hinge. Slackness to binding and some strain to textblock throughout, with some pages only partially attached. Bumped corners. Browning and some other marking to page edges. Some ink marking to pastedowns and to front endpaper, which has a chunk missing. Previous owner name rear endpaper and some ink and pencil marking and doodling to hindmost pages. A little marking and minor foxing to page surfaces throughout but reasonably clean. Occasional marginalia to a few pages throughout. See pictures for further information. An informative little volume. xii, 552, 88 pp.
