He engaged in mold manufacturing for 30 years. He specializes in mechanical drawing and metallographic inspection.

He graduated from Beijing teacher's college in 1982. obtained his master of science degree in 1985. He had been teaching plant anatomy and plant micro-technique in the department of biology in Beijing teacher's college for 10 years.
