An Attempt To Prove The Existence And Absolute Perfection Of The Supreme Unoriginated Being, In A Demonstrative Manner (1784)

""An Attempt To Prove The Existence And Absolute Perfection Of The Supreme Unoriginated Being, In A Demonstrative Manner"" is a philosophical book written by Hugh Hamilton in 1784. The book is an attempt to provide a logical and demonstrative proof for the existence of a supreme being, who is unoriginated and possesses absolute perfection. Hamilton argues that the existence of the universe and the complexity of its design are evidence of the existence of a supreme being who created it. He further argues that the concept of perfection necessitates the existence of a being who embodies it, and that this being must be unoriginated to avoid an infinite regress of causation. The book explores various philosophical arguments and concepts, including the nature of causation, the limits of human knowledge, and the relationship between faith and reason. Overall, ""An Attempt To Prove The Existence And Absolute Perfection Of The Supreme Unoriginated Being, In A Demonstrative Manner"" is a thought-provoking exploration of the existence of God and the nature of reality. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
