Do you believe in love at second sight?

James Newell never expected to fall hard for Sally Bachman. But that's exactly what he did on the first day of junior year. He and Sally had been acquaintances in junior high until Sally left for a year to go to private school. But now she's back, and something has changed. It only takes three days for this romance to start to blossom, and once it does, there's no turning back. Not that they would want to turn back. James and Sally follow their hearts and their hormones through a year of discovery while also having to navigate social disparities at school, addiction and mental health problems in their families, and difficulty with paying attention in their classes.
