About the Author
JOHN STRAWBRIDGE is a Casting Director, Writer, and Director with over 20 years of professional casting experience. As a former associate Casting Director, he worked on casting the HBO series, "The Wire", as well as the East Coast casting for the feature films SYRIANA, WEDDING CRASHERS, and was part of the search for the new Superman/Clark Kent for Warner Brothers SUPERMAN RETURNS. For five seasons, he worked on NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street, which received 3 Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award for casting. He has worked with a broad range of directors including Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Brett Ratner, Martin Campbell, Peter Medak, Agnieszka Holland, Clint Eastwood, Jodie Foster, Stephan Gaghan and Betty Thomas. He is a Co-Founder of Actors Company Theatre, the Creative Director of Campanile Media, and the Artistic Director of The Education and Entertainment Foundation 501(c)(3), providing Creative consulting, Writing, and Design work. John is a recipient of the Actors' Center 2001 Theatre Distinction Award.
