Aussie Tales: The Ten Commandments

Whether your family is religious or not, we all want our children to grow up with strong values. Aussie Tales: The Ten Commandments provide a clear foundation for applying the values of treating each other with kindness and respect.

This colourful book is a collection of charming allegories, set in the Aussie bush, that will help children to know and understand the biblical Ten Commandments. Children will be delighted by the native Australian characters, illustrated in vibrant watercolour.

Christian families and teachers involved in children's ministry will find that these stories make it both easy and enjoyable to unpack the Ten Commandments within the framework of salvation through Jesus.

A song set to a familiar Aussie tune, along with hand actions found at the end of the book, will help young learners (and older ones too!) to memorise these wonderful lessons for living.

Michelle Larrea's faith and passion for encouraging others through the Bible was born out of her childhood watching her missionary family sharing their love for God in Asia, where she was born and raised. Whilst living in Asia, her dad would tell tales of their homeland, Australia, involving mischievous bush creatures, igniting both her imagination, as well as her love for storytelling. As an Early Childhood teacher and mother, she became passionate about creating quality material to engage children in God's Word and encourage them in their growing understanding of God's love and purpose for their lives. Michelle is a keen artist, with a particular love of whimsical watercolour and capturing the unique beauty of Australian flora and fauna.
