Australian Birds: Facts and Colouring Book

An educational colouring book containing illustrations and information on 14 unique Australian bird species.

Australia has some of the most unique bird life in the world. This book contains information on their appearance as well as habitats, diet, behaviours and their conservation status. Accompanied by an illustrated colouring page for each species.

Birds featured are the Budgerigar, Gouldians Finch, Australian Pelican, Australian Magpie, Sulfur-crested Cockatoo, Galah, Rainbow Bee-eater, Eastern Rosella, Suburb Fairy Wren, Pink Cockatoo, Kookaburra, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Stone Bush Curlew and the Australian Masked Owl.

These birds were chosen for their iconic status, their uniqueness, or just because they are the illustrators favourites! While many species featured in this edition have a conservation status of least concern, overall Australian bird numbers are showing stress from habitat loss and climate change and are experiencing population declines.

Each listing features a small distribution map showing the range of habitats in which these birds can be found.

For bird lovers, and for learners, this educational colouring book is fun and informative.
