This is a seasonal botanical diary combining: Original watercolour paintings of Australian native flowers line drawings to assist plant identification. Poetry arranged by season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Dutton's method was deliberately local and intimate: each month she collected wildflowers within walking distance of her home, using them as the basis for both visual and poetic interpretation. Hard boards wrapped in dust jacket. Pages are tight. Very minor foxing on front and end pages.
