Authentic Health (Paperback)

Authentic Health is a journey, of understanding the signs your body is communicating, in order to achieve the goal of wellness. This book will guide you from first hand experience of a Naturopathic Doctor and mother of 9. With the wisdom of a lifetime as teacher, none of her children have ever seen a medical doctor.

My greatest accomplishment is birthing and rearing 9 children without the help of modern allopathic medicine. As a truly blessed person, I share my journey with child birth, children's health and family wellness. From first hand experience, I share what worked and how to save finances while keeping your family in the best health they can be in--Authentic Health! My journey began while in college when I experienced a drug side-effect to a common antibiotic that sent my health into a downward spiral, ending in steroid use to counter the side effects. Following my recovery which took 4 months, I began a quest that would shape my future and that of my entire family. I began a search for a safe and healthy solution to my poor health. I had battled eczema since I was three months old; asthma and allergy issues since I was 3 years old; and arthritis since I was 14 years old. At 20, I no longer trusted the "heroic doctors" who had served only to make my life more difficult as I began to react to more and more pharmaceutical drugs. It was in college when I began to look at herbs and aromatherapy. Later in the missionfield I began to understand and observe the impact of diet and nutrition. During the beginning of my marriage, and pregnancy with my first child, I began to really apply all that I had been learning in the past years. Now the fruit of the past 21 years is apparent in the lives of my nine children. None of which have ever used allopathic medicine. We are grateful for the blessing of knowledge and wisdom God has blessed us with in order to share with other families so that they too may enjoy Authentic Health.
