Synopsis
Authentic Leadership for Professionals and Small Business Owners is for people who have struggled to make a success of themselves, yet don’t feel successful. It examines the challenges faced by leaders who are the chief revenue producer, CEO, CFO, marketing department, human resource specialist and chief strategist for his or her business. It is intended for medical offices, law offices, dental offices, veterinary clinics, CPAs, beauty boutiques, consultants, psychologists, chiropractors, architects – any service-oriented business where the owner/professional is the primary revenue producer and also the organizational structure. The fundamental questions addressed are, “Now that you have worked so hard to make your business a success, are you truly happy? If not, how did you get yourself in this mess? Where did you lose your authentic self in the process? And what can you do about it?”
About the Author
In a career that has spanned four decades, Dr. Bill Campbell has coached and counseled leaders of major corporations, governmental agencies, small businesses and professionals in private practice. His experience "in the trenches" with the professionals who lead these practices led to this book. Dr. Dave Nibouar has practiced dentistry in a variety of business arrangements for over 35 years. His special interests are practice management and leadership theory and to a large extent, his practice was the laboratory where many of the ideas in this book were put to the test.
