Autistic Cooks - Taste of Color for Beginners: Cooking With Color

Diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome when he was only five years old, Jordan’s hardest subjects to learn was reading. Asperger’s syndrome is a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and most cases are diagnosed between the ages of five and nine. One day, while helping his mom Quantracia, Jordan shares that he wishes to become a cook when he grows up, so that he can help others like him.
Inspired by his heart-felt gesture, Quantracia Muex set on a journey to write a cookbook that is easy to understand. She feels that just because some of us think differently or learn differently does not mean their dreams will not happen. Autistic Cooks - Taste of Color for Beginners is dedicated to her son Jordan and all the children who face similar difficulties. With pictures for guidance, the book is easy to follow so that they can learn to cook for themselves.
