Although he's better known in Quebec as a journalist and top-flight auto expert, Jacques Duval first made his name as a radio and television presenter, hosting a variety of programs devoted to music and the Canadian record industry.
A former race driver, Duval won the Quebec Championship three times and was the first Canadian to win the GT class of the 24 Hours of Daytona. In 1990, he returned to auto-racing and took part in 16 races across Canada. He finished second at Mosport in August 1991 during the Firehawk Series.
Denis Duquet, former teacher of Roman History (and a lifelong car enthusiast), began his journalistic career in the early 1970s as a sportswriter and magazine editor, including a tour of duty with CAA--Quebec Touring magazine.
In 1980, Jacques Duval asked Denis to join the team at Le Guide de l'auto and since then their collaboration has grown steadily.
