Artificial intelligence is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and the future belongs to systems that can think, collaborate, and automate complex tasks—not just answer questions. If you've been curious about building intelligent multi-agent AI applications but feel overwhelmed by technical jargon, scattered documentation, or the complexity of modern AI frameworks, you're not alone.
Many developers, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and IT professionals struggle to move beyond simple chatbot applications. They often find themselves spending countless hours trying to understand agent communication, workflow orchestration, prompt engineering, API integration, memory management, deployment strategies, and production best practices. The result is frustration, slow progress, and missed opportunities to harness the true power of collaborative AI.
AutoGen User Guide is your complete, practical roadmap to mastering Microsoft's powerful AutoGen framework from the ground up. Designed for both beginners and experienced developers, this book takes you step by step through the concepts, tools, and techniques needed to build intelligent AI agents that work together to solve real-world problems.
Inside this comprehensive guide, you'll learn how to:
-
Understand the fundamentals of AutoGen and multi-agent AI systems.
-
Set up your development environment with confidence.
-
Build your first AutoGen project from scratch.
-
Create intelligent assistant agents, user proxy agents, and custom agents.
-

More than just explaining concepts, this book focuses on practical implementation. Every chapter builds on the previous one, helping you develop the skills needed to design intelligent AI systems that are scalable, reliable, secure, and ready for real-world deployment.
Whether you're building AI-powered business solutions, automating repetitive workflows, developing advanced software assistants, or exploring the future of collaborative artificial intelligence, this guide provides the knowledge and confidence to turn your ideas into reality.
The next generation of AI is built on intelligent collaboration, and there has never been a better time to develop the skills that organizations increasingly value.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
