This 454 pp. autobiography of this accomplished Doctor, is followed by 46 pp. of advertisements of other books printed by Lippincott. Other than a bit of foxing throughout (typical for books of this age), the book is very clean and tight internally. Externally, the cloth binding is intact, but does show typical edge and corner wear, has a 1" split at the bottom front spine edge, and is missing just the top 1/4" of the spine cloth. Priced accordingly. Still a collectible book, and a fascinating view into early Nineteenth Century medicine. Photos upon request.
