Embossed grey cloth covers soiled with library numbers on spine, spine label and cover corners frayed. Bookplate inside front cover, embossed library stamp on ffe and frontis. Pencil markings on a few pages of the preface, binding tight, pages edged in red, very good. No date given but preface dated 1886.
