Early printing of the revolutionary classic. Grove Press, 1965; stated Fourth Printing, no later printings indicated; xiv, [1], 454pp. Introduction by M. S. Handler, Epilogue by Alex Haley, followed by Ossie Davis's "On Malcolm X". In Roy Kuhlman-designed jacket. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; top board corners bumped, bottom front corner gently turned in, else wear to black boards is very minor, gold titling remains bold; very gentle bend to top corners of pages, mild foxing to top edge of page block; text very good throughout; mild toning to front end page due to laid-in magazine page (Jan 1973 Newsweek review of Goldman's The Death and Life of Malcolm X by Arthur Cooper). Unclipped ($7.50) dust jacket gently bumped at top corners, otherwise virtually no wear to edges; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar. A very presentable copy of the trade edition. Due to the size/weight of this book extra charges will apply for international and/or expedited shipping. Ships same or next business day from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.…
